No matter what they say...words can't bring me down. I can't figure it out. People are so god damn rude. I would never say to someone, "your shiny teal jumpsuit makes you look so white trash." or "your extreme tapered leg pants make your ass look humongous." or "I can't believe you buy your clothes at Farm 'n Fleet, guess you're going for that vintage 1988 look, huh?" So why is that these people feel it is necessary to be blatantly insulting towards me, just because I change my appearance slightly, and do something a little out of the ordinary? Is it really SO threatening that I don't follow the small-town-out-of-date-mainstream idea of fashion? |
