I don't need to hit rock bottom, to start moving up.

I don't have to learn everything the hard way.

22 is young that feels old. 22 feels like breaking out of the young skin.

22, is too young to have all the answers, but too old not to be figuring them out on your own.

People's opinions about my life sting me like needles in my skin, the blood drips down and stains it. I pick at and rub the wounds forgetting the original agenda.

The original agenda is to become myself.

I need a tattoo that says, "stop trying to become the person people around you think you should be."

I keep forgetting that.
