'we' the collective group of people i assume exist

Something has occured to me. When I was riding in the car with Steve he said to me "anyone can learn how to sing."

So why then, doesn't Britney Spears learn how to sing? I mean she's putting out another album, which will be her like 15th in 10 minutes, and she still can't sing!? It can't take that long to learn how to sing. It's been like three years since she came on the scene. If she learned how to sing maybe we could have a little more respect for her.

I say 'we' meaning the collective group of people I assume exist that think a person should actually be able to sing to be a famous singer.
