dead bodies

Today I saw my first dead body.

Well technically, not the first, because of course I have been to wakes and such. But I saw my first fresh one at the lab.

It was so weird. A person who is not alive. That's weird.

People die and we just paint 'em all pretty, hold a little ceremony, put 'em in the ground, and go about our daily life.

Seems like we should do something more.

I mean that person died!

They don't exist in the realm of earth anymore!

It's so weird!

There is a body.....but no life.

It's a hard concept for me to grasp if you can't tell.
